Weder der Partei "Die Linke" noch einem der Kommentatoren fällt auf, dass dieses Bild keine Bücherverbrennung im Jahre 1933 zeigt, sondern eine Bücherverbrennung im Juni 1955 in Ost-Berlin. Damals regierte dort die SED, die sich zuerst in PDS und dann in "Die Linke" umbenannte.

Our long-range responses had a very significant impact in the Moscow region last night. One of Russia’s key oil industry facilities and the aggressor’s logistics facility were hit. These are billions of dollars that sustain the war machine. The systems used included FP-1, RZ-100, MICH-2000, Palianytsia, Vendetta, Liutyi, Bars, Flamingo, Sichen, and Pelican.
I thank our warriors for their accuracy: the Security Service of Ukraine together with the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, and the Foreign Intelligence Service. Sanctions were also imposed on a facility in the Voronezh region. Moscow must end its brutal war and choose peace instead of building layered rings of air defense at the expense of other regions. Steps toward de-escalation are on the table – in energy and food security. What is needed is political will. I thank everyone who is strengthening Ukraine’s long-range capabilities. I am grateful to everyone who complements our long-range responses with responses through sanctions. Glory to Ukraine!

Man muss FJ Strauß nur drei Minuten zuhören, und der ganze intellektuelle und sittliche Verfall der Gegenwart liegt offen da. Es geht im Gespräch mit Günter Gaus 1964 um die notwendige Qualifikation eines Politikers.
Strauß redet dabei nicht als Parteimanager. Er redet als jemand, der noch wusste, dass Politik ein Charakterberuf ist. Kein Strategiepapier. Keine Arbeitsgruppe. Kein „neues Narrativ“. Ein Politiker, erst recht ein Kanzler, braucht ein Fundament, das älter ist als die letzte Koalitionsrunde.
Und dann die Unterscheidung, die heute niemand mehr treffen will: Weltanschauung ist nicht Weltbild, Weltbild ist nicht Geschichtsbild. Ohne Geschichtsbild bleibt nur Verwaltung. Strauß verlangt das damals Selbstverständliche: Strömungen erfassen, Folgen ahnen, den schwachen Spuren der Wahrheit auch in düsterer Zeit folgen. Instinkt plus Mut zum Wagnis. Die heutigen Altparteien CDU und SPD haben nichts mehr davon. Sie hatten ihre Zeit und sind nur noch morsch. Jetzt werden sie von Kräften verdrängt, die wieder den Mut haben, den großen Bewegungen der Zeit zu folgen. Im Grunde ein völlig normaler Vorgang.
