Sam Altman says now is the time for #IdeaGuys like me, who proposed autonomous campers and #agenticAI to replace CMS in 2016. Need Maverick #Ideation? Ask me.

Berlin, Germany
I am #Maverick enough to wear a tie on an X profile photo. #Ideas have always been my thing. #Ideation and #IdeaJams are fun. According to @sama from #OpenAI now is the time for an #IdeaGuy like me who in June 2016 proposed #autonomous #camper for nightly #travel. 😎
sam altman just dropped a blog post on why we're entering the era of the "idea guy" so, i wrote down 19 ways to come up with startup ideas in the AI age: 1. ask chatgpt: "give me 10 tedious workflows a [job title] does that ai could automate." rinse and niche down. 2. scroll your own chatgpt history. if you're repeating the same prompt weekly, that's a product hiding in plain sight. 3. search: site:reddit. com "is there a tool that" + your niche. you'll find users begging for tools that don't exist. 4. audit where you copy/paste between tools. that friction is a startup idea. 5. read ai tool youtube comments. people write what they wish the tool did, that's your roadmap. 6. join industry discords/slack groups. look for "does anyone have a tool for..." complaints. (can set up an automation for that on n8n) 7. use ideabrowser.com to find validated startup ideas from fb groups, subreddits, and google trends. use the ai agents to validate your own ideas (launch pricing rn @ideabrowser ) 8. study your calendar for recurring meetings with repetitive prep work. if you're copying templates each time, that's software. 9. browse fiverr for "i'll use chatgpt to..." services. those manual workflows are apps waiting to be built. 10. talk to local business owners about their daily excel updates. that's an ai agent waiting to be built. 11. browse g2 for top-rated legacy tools without ai. build the ai layer. 12. ask agency owners what clients beg for repeatedly. if it's annoying and repetitive, it's worth turning into software. 13. read comments on popular (70k+ views) youtube tutorial videos. look for friction points and niche applications for software ideas. 14. find multi-step tutorials using 8+ tools. build the one-click version. 15. scan linkedin job titles in growing industries. ask: "what would make this person 10x faster with ai?" 17. look for exploding job titles on linkedin. ask what workflows they're stuck doing manually. 17. find 2-star shopify/wordpress plugins with high usage. low stars + high usage = people care but experience sucks. or clone them with AI, focus on diff geographies and undercut on pricing. 18. join niche facebook groups and look for workflow hacking in comments. build the tool they're manually creating. 19. browse upwork for repeated ai + grunt work gigs. if multiple clients want it manual, it's ripe for productization. sam altman gets it. your biggest bottle neck is the right ideas (startup ideas/growth ideas). happy building. im rooting for you. we're all idea guys/gals now.

To care is a human feeling. No robotic hand, however sensitive, will deliver care work! A #humanoid will never care. Administration is the most a humanoid will ever deliver to humans in need of caring feelings. #carework #FutureOfRobotics

⬇️This is not what it is labled as. Russia does not publish Cool Ukranian robot designs. Ukraine has no access to Russian video streams. But it made me #ThinkDifferent for a moment. Now I believe that drones and robots will "talk" to each other in battle.
Incredible video shows a Russian drone attempting to destroy a Ukrainian ground robot but being disabled when the robot deploys an anti drone net and catches it. We literally have robots fighting each other on Ukraine’s frontline.

Ideas can come through anything you read. The #ideation process you can do alone or augment it with #AI. I did the latter here and came up with:"...a high‑concept satire with commercial potential." It may never materialise. But I laughed like crazy.🤣🤣🤣
Two studies offer encouraging results for the search for life on Enceladus. One examines how material from its buried ocean reaches space; the other tests whether a terrestrial microorganism can remain active under some of the conditions expected there. Together, they strengthen the case for investigating this moon’s habitability and analysing its ejected ice particles for possible biological material. Enceladus releases ocean material through fractures near its south pole. Cassini sampled these plumes and detected salts and organic compounds. The new research suggests that droplets freeze gradually during their passage through the icy crust, allowing their dissolved constituents to accumulate in different regions. Subsequent fragmentation can produce grains with very different compositions, some containing particularly concentrated substances. This could help future instruments identify compounds that would be harder to detect in a more diluted mixture. The biological experiment explored another question: whether the ocean’s alkaline chemistry could prevent certain microbes from obtaining enough carbon dioxide for their metabolism. Researchers tested Methanothermococcus okinawensis, an archaeon from terrestrial hydrothermal environments that uses hydrogen and carbon dioxide to produce methane without requiring oxygen. In the simulated Enceladus environment, it continued growing and producing methane despite the scarcity of dissolved carbon dioxide, using hydrogen supplied by reactions between water and rock. These findings don’t establish that Enceladus is inhabited. A terrestrial organism’s response to selected laboratory conditions cannot tell us whether life originated in an extraterrestrial ocean. They do provide a stronger experimental basis for asking what could survive there. The sampling research also suggests that any microbial material might become concentrated in a small proportion of the ejected grains. A future spacecraft would therefore need to examine many particles individually to improve its chances of encountering such material. 👉 share.google/siWAtz3J4D4SSh3… 👉 science.org/doi/10.1126/scia…

#ThinkDifferent Humans try farming in deserts. Humans try to leave earth. When humans can walk on tbe moon and in space... ...entrepreneurs will walk into dead markets and make them flourish because they #BuildDifferent and contrary to dogma.
There are only two types of startups now: 1) lifestyle and 2) sci-fi. Former should bootstrap. Latter should raise lots of capital. Anything in the middle is a dead zone.

On October 3rd, #Germany celebrates its Day of German Unity. Problem is, - Germany did not only fail to successfully integrate the socialist GDR, - it is also more divided than ever. Indeed the formerly free Federal Republic feels more socialist every day.

Hands and #humanoids is not about engineering. It is about mimicry. Humans build tools because they know that their hands do not serve them a lot. A #robot is a tool. A humanoid uses tools. That adds complexity. That limits design. It is a dead-end-road.
Boston Dynamics unveiled a new hand for Atlas: four fingers, 13 DoF. The team decided not to add a pinky. Elon Musk previously pointed out, while discussing Optimus on a podcast, that losing your pinky would noticeably reduce overall hand dexterity. Boston Dynamics, however, says a fifth finger would mean three more actuators. Its CTO had the team spend a day with their pinky and ring fingers taped together. They decided the extra dexterity wasn’t worth the added bulk, cost and risk of failure. Its four-finger hand already lets Atlas reorient objects in its grasp, recover a slipping grip, and hold tools while pulling their triggers.

Last month the UN voted 164-1 to recommend the Equal Earth map over Mercator. The US cast the lone no. Great read from @junkcharts on the catch: no flat map can keep both true areas and true shapes. Mercator keeps shapes, Equal Earth keeps areas. Pick your distortion.

Dear French students, You feel your schools suck? Your answer is to set them on fire? Why not switch school? Go to school in Africa! All your forner colonies speak French! Nobody sets them on fire. Youth is thankful to have them! bbc.com/news/articles/c6d080…
