RIP Edward Van Halen (1955-2020)

Living among rocks and cows
How did we not get this feed earlier today? If the liberal late night hosts or Saturday night Live had any sense of comedy, they’d be all over this. And look at Macron’s wife. She’s like WTF.

Am I thrilled with Trump the past six months? Nope. But I’m going to show up this fall and vote GOP across the board. I can survive higher gas prices. The country can’t survive this. And this is what staying home or voting Dem will mean. 👇

There was more outrage over Trump not allowing the Media to enter the White House than there was over Biden allowing millions of illegals to enter America. Insane.

But will @GovEvers allow the Feds to compare voter rolls?
I’M SCREAMING! The Supreme Court is allowing states to use the SAVE database to verify the eligibility of voters on the rolls. SAVE = Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements This is a HUGE win for the American people & we will find out if any non-citizens vote this November. Pass the SAVE America Act!

If CNN would go back to news reporting maybe they’d have a chance. But they are essentially a liberal commentary network masquerading as a news outlet.

I hate to tell you, Brian, but everything President Trump did yesterday was live streamed all over the internet just like it always is. No one watches TV. No one misses the press pool. You are extinct, you just haven't realized it yet.

The bond market is screaming at us to stop the deficit spending For almost two decades, America enjoyed a moat that very few countries in the world can afford, which was cheap cost of capital We should have taken these dollars and built out infrastructure like never before. Bridges, tunnels, roads, factories and everything in between Instead, we funded social services for boomers who already had too much, pushed on ESG and wokeness to folks who had too little, and awarded massive foreign aid to organizations who never deserved it Probably one of the worst allocations of capital in history on a national scale. History will not look back kindly at us

I'm deleting "Republican" idiots who say they won't vote this fall to "punish" Republicans because they haven't "done anything." These scumbags are traitors and need to be treated as such. Anyone who doesn't see the improvement in this country in the last two years is either a Democrat partisan or an idiot. If your only issue is fuel prices then you've got to be a total fucking moron to think Democrats would lower them. If your candidate lost the primary that's too bad. Deal with it in two years. Vote this Fall unless you want Woke Open Borders Islamo-Marxist Democrats as your rulers. And anyone who thinks your local Democrat isn't Mamdani is a fool, because all Democrats are Mamdani now.

Thought provoking post. Have always wondered why Iowa in particular seems to be moving more D than Wisconsin this cycle. They’re more red otherwise.
Yesterday, Iowa House Republicans were informed by their own pollsters that if you are in a +15 district you’re within the margin for error, if you’re in a +10 district you’re underwater, and that this might end being an even worse midterm environment than 2006. I slept on whether to share this publicly, because I don’t want to cause anyone to black pill. But this morning I ultimately decided the truth should be shared while there is still six weeks left to do something about it for the good of the country. Because if the environment is this bad in my home state, where Trump has been the most popular political figure over the last decade, I can’t imagine where it is everywhere else. Whatever we’re doing or not doing in Iran/Hormuz has become a 2020 Covid lockdown level of political albatross. This is approaching TARP bailout levels of unpopular in my home state. We are risking what’s left of the Trump presidency on this, because if Democrats take control the legislative branch the Trump domestic agenda we all voted for will largely cease between what a Democrat Congress will do and the courts have already been doing. Not to mention what it will cost individual states like my own, which we have worked so hard to make so red these last 20 years (with Trump’s help). This whatever/kinda/sorta/but not really war has become an existential misuse of political capital. Many of us never thought it was worth it, and more and more it appears voters agree. We have to save our own country and our own way of life first before we can save anyone else. We have to save America before we can save the world. If a plane is endangered, you are told to put on your mask first otherwise you’re of no use to help save anyone else. I desperately want us to win. I desperately want this presidency to fulfill all the great promise it had coming out of the 2024 election. But whatever this currently is, isn’t it. We don’t have to just sit here and take the L. It doesn’t have to end this way. We can still win. There’s plenty of ammunition to hammer the Democrats with. We need the president out on the stump asap. We need better and way more aggressive messaging. Stop running fake and gay ads about how often so-and-so shows up for votes, and instead mercilessly hammer Democrats on the wickedness they’re voting for. Articulate specifically what the mission/victory is in Iran/Hormuz, because out here in the cheap seats it feels like another Middle East War quagmire regular folks are paying for on both ends all over again. And for heaven’s sake, make sure Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas are getting the finest healthcare in America.

Ultimately, David Crowley DID get his county-wide sales tax increase as you can see him celebrating here. Just imagine your taxes if he wins along with Dems taking the legislature.
Part II of his 🧵. He laments having to spend parks budget monies in order to keep county park services rolling for white people activities (which are generating the revenue the county needs)

“Now let’s both go spend billions in Wisconsin, as we know the local media won’t have any interest in reporting on it”
Always inspired when I see my friend, Illinois Governor @JBPritzker, demonstrating that a different type of leadership is possible, and delivering the results. Glad to see him at #CGI2026 and UNGA speaking frankly and boldly about what real American leadership looks like.

Replying to @DavidCrowleyWI
What this means for the department is that staff time and resources must continuously go toward supporting the services that raise revenues, limiting the energy available to make the necessary changes to achieve racial equity. We are doing everything we can to change this.

This is an interesting one from 2021. He’s advocating to raise the sales tax because the parks system budget relies on revenue from white people activities.
Replying to @DavidCrowleyWI
Revenues often come from activities that those with discretionary funding can afford like golf, the marina, and beer gardens. These activities are traditionally and predominately supported by white users. This racial inequity is born from a history of systemic racism & injustice.
