How to come up with ideas for crypto projects:
> start with a problem, not a blockchain
> look where money is already moving: trading, payments, prediction markets, stablecoins, fundraising, gaming
> find processes with unnecessary middlemen. Ask if smart contracts can remove them
> think about what crypto makes possible that wasn’t possible before: permissionless markets, programmable money, ownership, global settlement
> take an existing product and ask: what changes if money becomes part of the product?
games -> player-owned markets
social apps -> tradeable assets
ai agents -> agents that can pay and earn
> watch new infrastructure. Every new protocol, API or primitive enables products that were impossible a year ago
> read hackathon tracks. Companies literally tell you what problems they want solved and pay you to solve them
> steal mechanics, not products. Take something that works in one industry and apply it somewhere else
> look at your own workflows. If you’re using 5 tabs, 3 bots and a spreadsheet to do one thing, there might be a product there
and don’t start by trying to build a billion-dollar startup
build something 10 people would want to use
