What’s up, Iowa? 👀
Evil isn’t shy anymore. What does that say about us. I would vote all these demons out. Ottumwa, Iowa’s city council opened its October 6 meeting with an invocation that ended in “Hail Satan.” Former council member Matthew Dalbey, listed on the city’s own invocation schedule, began: “Dear dark father… let us embrace the Luciferian impulse to eat of the tree of knowledge.” He closed with “It is done. Hail Satan.” The Pledge of Allegiance followed. This wasn’t a surprise disruption. In January the council adopted a first-come, first-served invocation policy that invites any resident, of any belief or none, to open meetings. Dalbey is also scheduled for November 3. He has said the text is used by The Satanic Temple of Iowa, which he belongs to, and that it isn’t meant as belief in a satanic deity. A local pastor, Rick Bick, then spoke out of turn and asked the council to reverse what he called a curse on the city. A council member objected that he should wait for public comment. The official meeting video, the city’s schedule, and the Ottumwa Courier all confirm it. A government meeting in an American city was opened by hailing Satan because the rules now treat that as equal to any other prayer. Weak Americans allowed this.
