I can't help compare this cynical BC election call with the recent federal election where Trudeau resigned but the Liberals were able to prorogue parliament for months, install Carney and THEN call an election. It seems the party in power has WAY too many advantages.

A year and a half ago, the media told you that Mark Carney had introduced a sweeping new law to get projects built. All it built was a new government department that has still not approved a single new project. Big talk. No results. Now, the media is telling you that he is introducing a “sweeping new bill” to get things built. How many times will they hype up these grand announcements resulting in nothing?

I heard through media whispers it's closer to 250%.

How can Canadians trust Prime Minster Mark Carney when he says one thing in Canada and the opposite in Europe? Conservatives are clear: yes to free trade and NATO defence cooperation with Europe. No to forcing EU taxes, EU laws, & EU’s radical open-border immigration policy on struggling Canadians who are already paying too much.

The Prime Minister can’t seem to get his story straight about the “associate membership,” “unique alliance,” or whatever else he is negotiating with the EU. Conservatives are clear: we support the decades-old free trade & NATO defence alliance with Europe. But no EU taxes, no EU laws, and no EU open-border immigration policies should be imposed on Canadians. Canada must be independent and sovereign. Period.

Where are the details of the US trade deal you walked away from? 5. Where are the regulations for Chinese EVs on transmission and collection of data? 6. Do we have any reporters who ask simple questions any more?

Mark Carney could not be more out of touch. With Canadians missing meals and mortgage payments, and days before he addresses the European Parliament (instead of the Canadian Parliament) we learn in a foreign newspaper of secret talks to make Canada an "Associate Member" of the European Union. This is not about diversifying trade: we have had tariff-free trade with Europe for over a decade. They would buy more of our goods today if the Liberal government would get out of the way and permit mines, pipelines, LNG plants to produce and ship them. Canadians deserve answers: Is the WSJ report true about associate membership in the EU? If so, will European border policies apply in Canada, further overwhelming our immigration system while our youth can’t find homes? Will Canadian waitresses struggling with rent have to pay tax dollars to the bloated EU bureaucracy? Will Canadian small businesses be buried under the red tape of Eurocrats that have never met a Canadian entrepreneur? All questions I’d ask in Parliament, but it is shuttered. And one more: who decides for Canada? The Welland welder did not elect a Eurocrat to regulate our steel. The Saskatchewan farmer and the Atlantic fisherman did not choose a Brussels agrifood regulator that has never even seen our prairies or coasts. We will NEVER be the 51st U.S. state. And we will NEVER be the 28th EU state. We are Canadians. This is our home, our freedom, our sovereignty, our people. Now and forever.

It's truly shocking that only Blacklock's reports this type of information. MSM should just close up shop in embarrassment, except that readers/viewers have no idea of the massive omissions by our MSM so they continue to get away with it.

It's true. COVID before, TRUMP now. It's really the same thing. Canadians have no independent thought. We have become a echo chamber cult (reinforced by cancellation) with no intelligent thought.

Carney has in reality, accomplished nothing (except giving away our tax dollars) so I really don't understand why Canadians are in love with him. Is the media protection program really that powerful??

This mindset is our biggest problem. If you look at the state of the country and remove Trump from the equation, it doesn’t reconcile how bad things are here. Trump isn’t letting child molesters and rapists go free into our society or giving out soft sentences so criminals can avoid deportation. Trump isn’t blocking our natural resources from reaching international markets. Trump didn’t create our housing, debt or immigration issues. Trump didn’t let our military wither on the vine. Trump didn’t allow our government and institutions to be infiltrated and co-opted by hostile PRC and other foreign operatives. Trump didn’t allow for Hamas and ISIS adjacent terrorist organizations to run amok in our streets and terrorize Jewish Canadians and largely undermine the basic tenets of our society and the rule of law. None of that was Trump. All of that was our government and our courts. Trump is a distraction, and should be treated largely as such. He’s an easy excuse for having to take accountability for our own failings. Anyone who says otherwise has terminal denialism that like a malignancy will eventually prove fatal to this country.

I wish I didn't feel this way because having your country invaded must be terrible, but I just can't shake the feeling Zelenskyy is taking advantage of the situation. He appears to spend more time travelling the world begging for money than he spends inside his country defending it. Then there is frequent stories of corruption within his government the media has no interest in. I truly hope this war ends soon.

I see no evidence this is true, especially since you bought off Conservative MPs to form an un-elected majority, specifically to avoid opposition adversity.

And Carney has such a great record of telling the truth...
