I lived there and i now live in a place where they nest. They will be fine but do need to be roped off from foot traffic. I am moee concerned about someone raiding the nest for dinner. It is very special to see the hatchlings race for the water.

Here’s my guess what will happen. The eggs will get moved to a marine animal rescue facility. They will be incubated until just before they hatch and then will be taken back to the same beach and allowed to hatch and make their way to the sea. Big storms are predicted and those would destroy the eggs on the beach.
