The effort perversely resulted in the exact opposite of the stated aims. 5. The only groups to benefit were (i) Democrat politicians, (ii) Deep State bureaucrats and (iii) an oligarchy of corporations who gained market control and coincidentally were huge Democrat donors. Now consider how overnight the Democrats have uniformly decided AI is an existential threat to humanity that must be brought under the control of the powerful central government and a handful of existing oligarchs in the space.

Imagine the people that want to define and control Mis/disinformation having control of regulating AI. You have to vote in midterms.
