Oregon’s had Democratic governors since 1987 and legislative control for most of the last two decades. HUD data still puts it near the top nationally for homelessness per capita, with ~60% unsheltered. High housing costs from tight land-use rules plus Housing First and delayed enforcement haven’t reduced the numbers, same pattern in other high-cost blue coastal states. Texas and Florida show far lower rates. Maybe you're the problem? 🤔
