An armed dad reportedly stopped a school shooter in Oregon. Then someone on Instagram said: “Good guy with a gun is not the answer.” Wait… WHAT? She says we should prevent school shootings instead of relying on “blind luck.” I agree prevention matters. But the school had locked doors. The shooter got through them. Police arrived in about three minutes. And an armed civilian was already there. She calls it luck. But he made a decision to carry long before that day. And when he saw what was happening, he made another decision. He went inside. Here's my question: If an armed citizen stops a school shooter, is that proof armed civilians can make a difference, or does the fact that a shooting happened mean prevention already failed? I want to hear both sides.

Details are always sketchy after an incident like this but so far what we think we know is that Kaylub Giamanco, a straight white male father, husband & carpenter, broke SEVERAL unconstitutional Oregon state laws, risking his life and freedom, and used his concealed carry gun to kill the child murderer who was armed with a much more powerful and capable long gun in an absolutely chaotic environment saving an untold number of innocent lives. If the commie female governor of Oregon comes after this man I will personally start and train a posse of American citizens and break him out of jail. The 36 year old carpenter and dad of two was driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots at Silver Rail Elementary in Bend, Oregon, the school his daughters attend. He followed the gunman into the special education classroom and stopped him. Authorities say Kaylub's actions prevented even more deaths. But his brother says Kaylub doesn’t see himself as a hero. Three children and a teacher were kiIIed. Another child and a teacher were critically injured. A 7 year old in a wheelchair was shot in the face and is currently fighting for his life in the hospital. Kaylub wasn’t looking for recognition.
