At @avax Summit, we learned that the company behind the New York Stock Exchange has spent roughly a year evaluating Avalanche technology. So, what does that mean? @NYSE is developing a platform where stocks and ETFs could be traded and settled using blockchain. Avalanche is one of the technologies being considered. No blockchain has been selected. The news is that Avalanche is part of the conversation about how future markets could work.

Two days at Avalanche Summit NYC made one thing clear: the ecosystem is focused on building things that can scale beyond crypto native circles. From infrastructure and payments to enterprise use cases, adoption, and stronger builder support, the conversations were centered around what it takes to move from ideas to real world impact. Team1 USA was proud to be in the room, making connections, learning where builders need support, and helping strengthen the bridge between the ecosystem and communities across the U.S. Now we take those conversations home and keep building. 🔺

Avalanche Summit was everything and more. The programming, caliber and number of attendees, media turnout, and partner presence were all exceptional. This year’s theme centered heavily around the next phase of blockchain adoption, moving beyond experimentation and into real world implementation. We saw this narrative echoed across various industries onstage including private credit, payments, traditional equities, and even consumer and entertainment. What stood out most was seeing institutional adoption happening in practice, with businesses increasingly moving from online to onchain and blockchain becoming an integral part of how real world businesses operate and how seamlessly and effortlessly blockchain adoption has become.
