The Optimus factory at Giga Texas is designed to produce 10 million humanoid robots a year... Running 24/7, that single building is producing enough physical labor to build: - Empire State Building in 45 minutes - Golden Gate Bridge in 2.5 hours - Hoover Dam in 3.5 hours - Transcontinental Railroad in 24 hours - Panama Canal in 3 days - Pyramids of Giza in 4 days - US Interstate Highway System in 2 months The world is not remotely ready for the exponential jump in physical output coming over the next few decades.
The Optimus factory construction at Giga Texas is progressing rapidly. It'll be a massive 7 million sq ft facility with a targeted capacity of 10 million Optimus per year. Initial production is planned to begin in 2027. The Fremont facility, planned for 1 million per year, is expected to begin production this year.

All European socialist countries will end badly. This nonsense doesn’t work in the fast AI turbo-charged world anymore. They just don’t get it yet.

Most people don’t yet grasp what is happening in France. Markets are pricing French sovereign debt as junk, rating agencies will eventually have to follow. This will have two major impacts: 1. Most French banks are already rated at or just below the sovereign, so a move toward junk would likely drag domestically focused lenders with it. Credit to households and firms would slow sharply, hurting the economy and widening the fiscal deficit even further, a vicious cycle. 2. For the ECB, the constraint is legal as well as financial. A fall below investment grade would force sales by ratings-bound investors while making any backstop harder to justify under current rules. The next euro crisis will begin in France. The first, which began in Greece, will feel like a walk in the park compared with what comes next.

They called you a conspiracy theorist. Then they released the paper that blows up their own story. The CIA just released a document that contradicts the CIA. Their own file on Venezuela and Smartmatic. Their own file called Smartmatic a U.S. national-security threat in 2006. It said Chávez wanted to stop a sitting American president. It described a 2012 Venezuela rigging plan: targeted machines, a set margin, built to beat an audit. The CIA’s source reported Chavez “congratulated” the team for rigging the election with the previously set margin. Then the CIA wrote “no large-scale fraud” next to it. Eleven years later, Smartmatic showed up in the U.S. to build L.A. County’s system for $282M — America’s largest election jurisdiction — just in time for the 2020 election. Now its executives are federally charged with bribery and money laundering on that contract. And we are the conspiracy theorists?? 🫨🤯 1/2

Amazing. These researchers found that there's a spike in Bitcoin activity around the time foreign aid money goes out. Somewhere between 2 and 6 cents of every dollar of World Bank foreign aid disbursements got siphoned off into crypto wallets:

It's finally here! At last we have phase-3 results for retatrutide! So, did the drug join the scores of pharmaceuticals that fail at this last crucial step? If you've tried retatrutide recently, you'll realize the answer is 'no': it performed amazingly🧵

Elon Reeve Musk is single-handedly responsible for making EVs viable, he’s going to space, providing internet to impossible areas (like my airstream on my burned lot). As an unrepentant capitalist, he’s done more tangible good for us than every socialist politician combined.

The autopen freakout and the Xi-summit pile-on aren’t the story. Trump is erasing 50 years of foreign policy — Xi says the Thucydides Trap can be overcome, Gaza’s Board of Peace ends “outside forces” control, and Rubio’s permanent dual role locks in the reverse course. @sjkokinda's Saturday Wrap-Up:

'science' is slowly catching up to the woo of our common shared reality.
🚨 Chinese scientists just detected an unexplained 71-terahertz vibration inside mitochondria — the microscopic "powerhouses" of living cells. The work was published by researchers at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. The signal, which oscillates 71 trillion times per second, was detected in living human cells and mouse tissues but vanished completely once the cellular structures were dried or disrupted. This dependency on structural integrity led the scientific team to propose that mitochondria may utilize a quantum hybrid state, known as a polariton, created by light-matter coupling inside their highly folded inner membranes to optimize how they function. To test this theory, the scientists stimulated human cell cultures with weak infrared light tuned to specific frequencies associated with this quantum state. The experiment yielded a stunning 10 percent jump in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the vital molecule that fuels almost every biological function in our bodies. While the study was published as a bioRxiv preprint and is still awaiting peer review, it represents a monumental leap for quantum biology. If verified, the ability to manipulate these quantum channels could pave the way for revolutionary treatments targeting metabolic diseases, aging, and chronic genetic conditions. source: Song, B., et al. (2026). A quantum state of mitochondria in the living cell. bioRxiv.

Excited to introduce @Cosign: the curated professional network for the startup community: cosign.co Our goal is to create the following: - A comprehensive startup directory of investors, companies, and operators, including what they worked on and who they worked on it with. - Cosign graph: Who shaped your career? Who were you actually in the trenches with? Who would work with you again? Who thinks you’re someone to watch? - Durable reputation: Great endorsements happen every day on X and disappear into the feed. Cosign attaches those signals permanently to people and companies. - Discovery: Who are the best fintech angels? Which AI companies should I watch? Who are the best designers? - Intent network: Privately signal “I’d invest in them,” “I’d hire them,” “I’d work with them,” or eventually even “I’d acquire this company.” Match people when interest exists on both sides. Imagine if Wikipedia, LinkedIn, and OG AngelList had a baby. Though Cosign is a community, not a business. In order to join, you need to be cosigned. Or you can apply directly. David Booth and I started this idea 7 years ago but didn’t have the firepower to make it work. Now we do. No one has really touched LinkedIn in 20 years. Excited to take a swing. cosign.co

Former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon became a media superstar after going public with his AI fears. He insisted that he wasn’t working with any third party organizations. Familiar sources told us a different story: DEY., a PR firm representing many of the most prominent AI safetyists, was booking his interviews. One source, who had direct knowledge, even said DEY. preemptively booked Nate Soares, a prominent AI safety figure, for interviews that directly overlapped with Jacob going public. Jacob working with DEY. is notable for two reasons: first, as mentioned, he previously said he wasn’t working with third parties. Second, we are in the middle of a national conversation about the future of AI that is actively determining how we regulate the most powerful technology in the world, largely thanks to the panic stirred up by Jacob — and it’s in the public’s interest to know who, exactly, is behind it. 🤣 Seen live footage everywhere all day. Legacy media is dead & don't seem to realize it. This is what victory looks like.
If you’re wondering the reason why you’re not seeing video of President Trump and Xi Jinping, it’s this: The TV pool that usually handles live coverage of Trump’s events is still in a holding pattern due to his unprecedented ban of CNN, MS NOW and Politico. While journalists for the three outlets are now back at the White House, thanks to a federal judge’s order, the status of the TV pool is a separate matter. The five major networks that make up the pool — CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox News — are waiting on confirmation from the White House that CNN will be allowed to fulfill its pool responsibilities in the future. At the moment, the pool doesn’t have that assurance, so it has not filmed any of Trump and Xi’s events so far today. << this is from our CNN live story -->>> cnn.com/2026/09/24/politics/…
