During our coverage of #UNGA81 this week in New York, I sat on "Diplomatic Avenue" show, I had a deep dive with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Mr. Tom Fletcher @UNReliefChief @UNOCHA on the worsening Humanitarian Situation in Yemen and Sudan. USG Fletcher told me about his hopes for this week: " What we're trying to do Talal this week is to reach 11 million people who are currently in the highest severity areas, what we call (category) four and five who we can't get to because of the conflict lines, because of a lack of energetic diplomacy, and so we'll be pushing the world leaders and I will have a list of requests for them" On Yemen I asked him, will the UN declare famine in Yemen soon, are we on the brink of doing so?
