Lane Johnson and Cam Jurgens will combine for a $40.8M dead cap hit in 2027.

Media was only allowed to watch Eagles stretch, so we weren't at practice for long. But I did not see: Hollywood Brown (ankle) Saquon Barkley (hamstring) Marcus Epps (groin) Jonathan Greenard (ankle) Drew Kendall Zack Baun (concussion), Dallas Goedert (knee), and Quinyon Mitchell (knee) appeared to be practicing in some capacity. Jihaad Campbell and DeVonta Smith (hamstring) were present but did not appear to be participating.

#Eagles GM Howie Roseman on the perception that his team is emphasizing the future over the present: "Nothing has changed in terms of our goals. We're trying to win this year. I think, from from my perspective, just looking at what is the ultimate goal, which is to win the last game of the year, and then to have a run. "We've had, obviously, since coach has been here, we made the playoffs five times, been in two Super Bowls. You want to have an extended run, and so, my job is to look at how we can have sustained success for a long period of time."

#Eagles TE Dallas Goedert (knee) is back at practice. He should be able to play Sunday, from what I understand. Have to see how the week goes.

Dallas Goedert and Fred Johnson both at practice. Also shows why Howie Roseman did not put them on IR.

Howie Roseman on the Cam Jurgens trade: "We weren’t looking to move Cam. Obviously, the Ravens had been looking for a center. They lost three centers. I speak to Eric (DeCosta) a lot. Originally, kind of told him it wasn’t anything we were looking to do. Over the last 24 hours it got to the point where we felt like it could be a win-win for them obviously getting a player who was a two-time Pro Bowl center for us. "And for us, being able to get the picks we were able to get and use that money also to sign players. Had a chance to watch Drew (Kendall) here play center. He’s doing a nice job, have a young player there. I think for us, when you talk about the 2 and the 5 and going from the 7 to the 5th, we’ve had success in the 5th round. Plus, the money, plus Drew playing, we felt like we were getting four players for one. We just felt like for us with all of these guys that we’ve got coming up, a lot on the defensive side of the ball we want to re-sign and extend, felt like that was a good situation for us."

#Eagles LB Jihaad Campbell is out here stretching, but it doesn’t appear he’ll be practicing today. His injury is currently unknown. LB Zack Baun (concussion) is back at practice.

The #Texans have designated WR Tank Dell to return from IR. A huge day for Dell, who tore his ACL, LCL and MCL, dislocated his knee and suffered meniscus damage in a catastrophic injury in 2024. He has worked his way all the way back. 🙏

The Eagles will miss Lane Johnson of course, but they have a complete outlier of unblocked pressures right now. This is far worse than just not having starters...

Eagles OC Sean Mannion keeps mentioning what the opponent is doing and implying why that’s the offense is or isn’t finding success. It sounds a lot like what Kevin Patullo said. 😬 The Eagles and Mannion need to be the ones dictating the terms, not the other way around.
