The Hill is out with my column on the "Education Cartel" and how it is strangling the life out of the school system. thehill.com/opinion/educatio… Everyone is getting windfall profits, from the unions to the politicians. Only the kids are being shortchanged by America’s school system.

This woman was, in reality, amazingly coddled and spoiled. She was an RN with an even higher-earning husband, who got her a nanny (!) and was down to run family errands. Quack doctor friends wrote her costly prescriptions for everything imaginable, including some pretty hard and potentially fun drugs. Many- not all - of her supporters fit this same mold: relatively coddled up-middle class wine wives or divorcees, who convinced themselves they are somehow still oppressed by such factors as "my man still wants sex with me" or "I do slightly more home chores." Just sayin.'
Did you know Lindsay Clancy was evaluated by the BEST women and children’s center in the US just one month before killing her kids? They did not diagnose her with postpartum depression even.

Wow. This woman says she grew up with a mother like Lindsay Clancy who would have murdered her & her brother if she knew she would get away with it. She says Lindsay is cut from the same cloth of women who torture their children because they hate & can’t control the father of their children. Interesting x.com/boldtiming/status/2096…

You miserable grifters. It was a landslide. There is zero evidence climate change played any role whatsoever. And Nepal could have used the billions USAID & the UN gave it to install cheap sensors and sirens but held “gender inclusion” workshops instead.
"The climate disasters in Nepal are the essence of climate injustice. Those least responsible for climate change are the worst affected and the least equipped to recover," writes Sumnima Udas, a member of Parliament in Nepal. time.com/article/2026/09/02/…

This was perfection! Also hilarious! Macron: You may call me President Macron. Trump: Emmanuel. The multilateral institutions you’re talking about – who runs them?
Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Emmanuel Macron are sitting at a table. It is unclear who arranged the meeting. Macron has brought a prepared statement. Musk has brought his phone. Trump has brought Trump. Macron: I think we can all agree that the multilateral framework for global governance requires a renewed commitment to… Trump: Nobody agrees to that. I don’t agree to that. What does that even mean? Macron: It means that sovereign nations, acting in concert through established institutions… Musk: Which institutions? Macron: The WHO. The WTO. The UN framework for… Musk: The WHO that covered for China in 2020? Macron: That is a simplification of a complex… Trump: It’s not a simplification. They covered for China. Everybody knows it. I said it at the time. Nobody listened. Then everybody found out. Now they’re pretending it’s complicated. Macron: The point is that unilateral action destabilizes the international order that has maintained peace since… Musk: Which peace? The peace in Ukraine? The peace in Gaza? The peace in Sudan? Macron: These are precisely the crises that demonstrate the need for multilateral… Trump: Emmanuel. Can I call you Emmanuel? Macron: You may call me President Macron. Trump: Emmanuel. The multilateral institutions you’re talking about – who runs them? Macron: They are governed by member states through… Trump: Who actually runs them. Day to day. Who writes the reports? Who sets the agenda? Macron: Career international civil servants who… Musk: Selected how? Macron: Through a rigorous process of… Musk: Selected by whom? Macron: (pause) By the member states, through their appointed… Trump: By people like you. Appointed by people like you. Reporting to people like you. Producing reports that people like you use to justify doing what you were going to do anyway. Macron: This is a profound misunderstanding of how international institutions… Musk: Fifty-seven percent. Macron: I beg your pardon? Musk: French state spending as a percentage of GDP. Fifty-seven percent. Highest in the developed world. After thirty years of reform. What did the reforms reform? Macron: The structural transformation of a complex economy requires time and… Trump: Rubbish. I reformed things. Fast. They said it couldn’t be done fast. It could be done fast. Macron: With respect, the American context is entirely different from… Trump: It’s not different. You have too much government. I had too much government. I fired a lot of it. Economy grew. Simple. Macron: The European social model represents a fundamentally different set of values around solidarity and… Musk: And the banlieues? Is that the social model working? Macron: Urban integration is a complex challenge that requires investment in… Musk: It requires the things that the fifty-seven percent was supposed to provide and didn’t. Macron: I would caution against reducing complex sociological phenomena to… Trump: He’s doing the thing where he uses long words so you stop listening. Macron: I am attempting to introduce necessary nuance into a conversation that… Musk: The necessary nuance is: the model isn’t working. The debt is at one hundred and twenty percent of GDP. The youth unemployment is twice the American rate. The industrial base is leaving. The demographics are collapsing. These are not complex sociological phenomena. These are numbers. Macron: And your solution is to simply – dismantle everything? Without a plan? Without a framework? Musk: My solution is to stop doing the things that are producing these numbers and start doing different things. Macron: But which things? And decided by whom? This is precisely why we need institutional frameworks that… Trump: Decided by the people who were elected to decide. That’s called democracy. Macron: Representative democracy functions through institutions that… Trump: Emmanuel. You know what your approval rating is? Macron: Polling is a snapshot of… Trump: 18%… {Part 2👇🏻}

The Washington Post asked me to do a short video here about my recent luxury beliefs piece. The very calm and very sane replies indicate that maybe I'm onto something.
The most progressive parents in the United States are giving their children the most traditional names. “People with options choose the safest [names] for their own children, while praising risk and novelty for everyone else,” @robkhenderson says. “In my journey from foster care to Yale, I coined a term for this pattern: luxury beliefs.” 🔗 Read more about what the latest data on baby names says about progressives: wapo.st/4vWXtZo

In 1825, a rich Welsh industrialist bought an entire American town to prove that socialism could work. He had the money, the buildings, the theory, and hundreds of eager followers waiting to move in. Two years later, it was over. 🧵
