I’m on the older side of GenX, (have RA), helped my daughter with both my grands, watching (my now 7yr old grand) when he was 2 weeks thru almost a yr old before she got him in the school she wanted him in. Then 3 yrs later came (my now 4 yr old grand). “Mom, can you do the same for me with “her” as you did with “him”?
Of course, I said happily!
Guess what, she was a completely different baby. Much more demanding, not as independent as he was.
Even my daughter was a bit overwhelmed with how she was so demanding. Haha (reminder this is my grand who is going to be the mini MacGyver I posted the video about)
After 2 weeks to 3 mos old, my daughter got her into the same school her brother was in.
Not going to sugarcoat it, I was relieved. But I will never change what I did.
I pray for all the strength and longevity for every grandparent to be able to help their children’s children. It’s a blessing. ❤️
What a toxic viewpoint.
Here I am strength training for longevity and praying that I’ll have good health to be able to help my daughters as much as humanly possible when they become mothers.
I know Not All Boomers but what is wrong with y’all who are like this?
