Rules for thee, not for the IRS.
Of thousands of delinquent workers, just 20 IRS employees who weren't paying their taxes were terminated. It's supposed to be a firing offense.
They hound you for every cent of YOUR paycheck. Yet thousands of them are dodging their own tax bills. Imagine what theyâd do to you if the tables were turned.
Ernst is pushing two bills to hold them accountable: one to audit IRS employees, another to publicly name the federal workers who are delinquent.
You shouldnât need an act of Congress to make the tax collectors pay their own damn taxes.
