I was talking with someone about this yesterday. It's a huge problem. I have a younger brother who is in and out of the hospital right now due to kidney failure. Due to his sickness he is in need of intravenous iron infusions. A doctor who immigrated to the United States from Brazil failed to put the IV into his vein and his forearm is now full of iron that the tissue now has to absorb and get into his bloodstream. Painful stuff. Importing a bunch of poorly trained foreign nurses and doctors into the United States is making our healthcare system worse and putting American lives at risk. It needs to come to an end.
