Apparently
#ProveMeWrong means “re-quote me and then immediately block me so I can’t respond.” 😂 Since they blocked me, would someone mind replying with this for me?
@sassylassy666
“Show one Conservative government that has lowered taxes.”
You could have saved yourself all those hashtags and looked this up first. The Harper government cut the GST from 7% to 5%, lowered the lowest federal income tax rate from 16% to 15%, and lowered the general federal corporate tax rate from 22.12% to 15%.
And Saskatchewan is currently implementing a four year provincial income tax reduction plan. Yes, Saskatchewan is running a deficit. That doesn’t magically mean tax reductions didn’t happen.
As for Harper “raising the retirement age,” be accurate. His government legislated a future increase in OAS and GIS eligibility from 65 to 67. It was later cancelled before it ever took effect.
If you’re going to use
#ProveMeWrong, maybe don’t block the person before they get the chance. 😂
And since we’re apparently doing clever spellings like CONservative, I guess LIEberal is fair game too.
