this makes sense when you consider, for example, that israel is one of the rare countries where the same person moves straight from leading its department of education to leading its military (naftali bennett). such a transition would be unheard of in most other countries. imbuing israeli youth with this ideology is a long-term likud play that has been extremely successful.
