Florida is not the house that DeSantis built. Florida is the House that @JebBush built. DeSantis took it to a completely different level though. Rick Scott rebuilt the house after hurricane Crist hit. So many key leaders have also contributed that are and are elected.
Trump won Florida by roughly the same margin as TX, Iowa, Alaska, and Ohio (give or take), but FL is the House that DeSantis built and fortified enough that even lackluster Rs in a terrible environment would have trouble losing.
