I’m out for a walk so I apologize if this tweet isn’t perfect, but I wanted to address some of the vtuber community since I think I’m done being a doormat, especially to some people who will never offer the same grace back After multiple times now of people lying, spreading false narratives, and people downright harassing me and my family I think I have to draw the line I’ve callen out pedophiles, I’ve called out people scamming their communities, scamming charity and downright predators and critiqued what many streamers would deem bad actions. The guilty and extreme parasocial and nefarious will do anything to paint you in a bad light, especially if they disagree with you even if I do it respectfully I usually never minded, but always mentioned in my videos this happens but it’s becoming so widespread that a vtuber was even quote tweeting someone that was exposed as a literal pedophile and obviously hated that I called them out lol. Like literally platforming a pedophile to hate on me. No shit they’re not gonna like me 😭 But the issue is people then believe these people, think I’m horrible when I keep getting compliments on how I conduct and do my videos. I’ve had so many supportive comments even when I was contemplating quitting my vtuber all together from all this lying and harassment. This is entirely what bad people want, to push narratives to keep doing bad things. It works too. I understand critiquing creators may be hard, especially if you’re younger but that’s a bit point of my content. A bit of gossip, a bit of discussion and breaking things down respectfully. Making discord groups trying to coordinate my demise or threatening my sponsors is psychotic behavior. I even have found out Ironmouse “fans” were emailing my sponsors lying about my content. Thankfully people around me, my friends, my community and companies know me and my values well so it’s brushed off. But that’s what happens with these hyper fans. I’ve even had people hate on me 2 minutes after a tweet is live on a 45 minute long video. You don’t even know what I’m saying 😭 its downright disrespectful For shame to vtubers too who have pushed any hate on me. I’ve had so much more support from people who actually watch my content, and know me and tell me to keep going. But people see something they disagree with means I’m evil, even if I have proof to back it up, even if they’re spouting opinions too! Why can you, and I can’t? I don’t know, it just really hurts seeing people lie about me, making things up about me and I’m just sick of it ngl It hurts more people blindly pushing it. Hurts more when someone dislikes me and they don’t even know why. I talked to a “hater” and they were insulting me for things I never even said lol, like I feel like I’m on the Truman show Thank you for all the kind words, support, people defending me. So many people have said nice things when it mattered, so many people defended me, and so many people gave me a shot As my audience grows my repository grows more, but I won’t be Mr nice guy to disgusting vile people anymore I hope everyone understands, because I won’t dim myself anymore for people trying to blow me away Sorry for the rant 😔 especially with the sinder stuff seeing people get harassed for no reason just really really irks me, they’re good people too there So why am I getting hate if I don’t want others to be bullied or harassed? Why do I get hate for trying to stand by my morals and ethics? Why do fleshtubers not care, but vtubers are free to harass me?
