El Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Muñoz Marín informa que, por disposición de la Administración Federal de Aviación de los Estados Unidos (FAA), se ha emitido una restricción temporal del espacio aéreo que incluye la región de Puerto Rico, como resultado de una situación de seguridad relacionada con actividad militar en Venezuela.
Como consecuencia, la mayoría de los vuelos comerciales desde y hacia SJU operados por aerolíneas estadounidenses se encuentran suspendidos o podrían ser cancelados temporalmente. Las aerolíneas extranjeras y aeronaves militares no están incluidas en esta restricción.
Se exhorta a los pasajeros a verificar el estatus de su vuelo directamente con su aerolínea antes de acudir al aeropuerto.
El Aeropuerto Internacional Luis Muñoz Marín continuará informando cualquier actualización oficial conforme esté disponible.
