So, the whole "steel plant" that the RW Influencers were parading around trying to swipe at Carney over the Stelco situation had essentially turned out to be a load of shit and an election stunt.
Every time these guys platform Trump they get burned.
You'd think you'd learn.
Looks like Trump’s new “steel plant” in IA, announced to shore up support in midterms from people his policies have crushed, where he said construction has already begun, is nowhere close to happening and contingent on Iowans giving tax breaks & incentives to a company in India.

They are temporarily pausing one aspect of the operation.
Overall output will remain the same, just with a different product mix.
The impacted workers are being offered employment at the other plant.
