Relative’s Aadhaar has incomplete name (missing middle name). Husband’s name only as W/o in address. Passport appointment 12 Oct (already postponed twice for this). Not our fault — we don’t print Aadhaar or decide what’s on it. Now stuck. Anyone faced this? Advice needed. @UIDAI

Dear @UIDAI @PMOIndia If the state has bifurcated or you guys change the names. Why should i pay to update the address in Aadhar? You guys don’t allow andhra pradesh instead of telangana on my aadhar. Why?

Aadhaar generation involves various quality checks therefore there are chances that your Aadhaar gets rejected due to a mismatch of information with the given document or any other technical reason. So, it is recommended to re-enroll.

Normally up to 30 days from the date of update, the Aadhaar is updated. Also, once your request is processed, you will be intimated by SMS on your registered mobile number. You may also check the status after few days by visiting our website uidai.gov.in or by contacting UIDAI toll free number 1947.

आम तौर पर अपडेट की तारीख से 30 दिनों तक आधार अपडेट होता है। साथ ही आपका अनुरोध प्रोसेस होने के बाद आपको अपने पंजीकृत मोबाइल नंबर पर SMS द्वारा सूचित किया जाएगा। आप हमारी वेबसाइट uidai.gov.in पर जाकर या यूआईडीएआई टोल फ्री नंबर 1947 पर संपर्क करके भी कुछ दिनों के बाद अपने अपडेट स्थिति की जांच कर सकते हैं।
