I enjoy the company of all Veterans, but spending time with Men that I trained, I shared a vehicle with, shared a deployment with, it just hits harder. Do yourself a favor and go to that reunion for your old Battalion, reach out to those that know the type of Warrior you were. It’s that good stuff I’m always talking about!

I gotta be careful driving these days as I’ll never pass a heel-toe sobriety test with my balance these days. The steroid shot in my left ear has reduced the intensity and duration of my vertigo. Though now my balance seems to be off more than before. My tinnitus was loud enough to wake me this morning. Hopefully I’ll see improvement over the next week before I get a second steroid injection in my left ear and further improvement after that.

CENTCOM Statement on Recently Fallen, Missing U.S. Service Members
TAMPA, Fla. — On July 17, two U.S. service members in Jordan were killed in action as U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and partner forces defended against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. Additionally, one service member is currently missing.
Four American service members were medically evacuated to Jordanian hospitals. They have since been discharged. Other personnel who were evaluated for minor injuries have returned to duty.
Out of respect for the families, CENTCOM will withhold additional information, including the identities of the fallen warriors, until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified.
