Proudly serving the people of Alabama's 6th Congressional District. Member of @HouseCommerce and @GOPoversight.

Americans use a photo I.D. to open bank accounts, board flights, check into hotels, enroll in college, buy alcohol or tobacco, purchase medicine like Sudafed, rent cars, and more. Why are Democrats against using a photo I.D. to vote? We must pass the SAVE America Act.

From improving maternal and emergency care to expanding cancer screening and early detection, these grants will help ensure patients can receive critical care closer to home. I am pleased to see the RHTP continuing to deliver resources that strengthen healthcare across Alabama.
Rural Health Transformation is investing nearly $55 million in Alabama to strengthen care and $7.2 million in South Dakota to modernize rural EMS — bringing lifesaving services closer when every minute counts. Through his Working Families Tax Cuts, President Trump is giving states the resources to transform rural healthcare around the needs of their communities.

The Northern Beltline will strengthen connectivity across our region, support economic growth and provide new opportunities for the communities it serves. I am grateful to everyone who has worked to reach this point, and I look forward to building on this progress as construction continues.
👏: BIG NEWS for the Birmingham region and Alabama — the first phase of the Birmingham Northern Beltline is OPEN to traffic! More than 40 years in the making, this is a major milestone for a transformational project. Full speed ahead! #alpolitics governor.alabama.gov/newsroo…

With NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, Redstone Arsenal, world-class research universities, and a highly skilled aerospace and defense workforce, Alabama already has the experience, infrastructure, and talent necessary to support the mission of the Space Academy.
North Alabama is the PERFECT home for President Trump’s new Space Academy. We are proud to be home to Space Command, Marshall Space Flight Center, the Missile Defense Agency, and COUNTLESS space and defense research companies. Students from around the country are already traveling to North Alabama to attend Space Camp. I am confident there is no place better than the Rocket City for Space Academy.

California’s far-left standards raise costs and force small businesses to spend billions on technologies they cannot afford. Watch as @USRepGaryPalmer speaks in support of H.J.Res. 213 which protects tug boats and ferries and other commercial harbor craft across the country from burdensome regulations that fail to protect the air we breathe.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives taken that day and honor the first responders who ran toward danger, the ordinary Americans who acted with extraordinary courage, and the men and women who answered the call to defend our nation in the years that followed. A generation of Americans has now grown up without a memory of that terrible day. Tragically, many young Americans have not been taught the history of radical Islamist ideology or the devastating consequences that can follow when such extremism is allowed to take root. We are now seeing some in younger generations embrace or excuse the very ideologies that have fueled terrorism and violence around the world. We have a responsibility to teach the next generation the truth about the September 11 attacks and why they happened. Remembering is not only about honoring those we lost; it is also about ensuring that the lessons of that day are never forgotten. Twenty-five years later, join me in remembering the lives lost, honoring the heroes, and remaining committed to defending the freedoms that make America worth protecting. We will never forget.

One year ago today, Charlie Kirk was tragically taken from us. Charlie was a bold voice for faith, freedom, and the conservative principles that make our nation strong. His commitment to reaching the next generation and standing firm for what he believed left a lasting impact on our country. We continue to pray for Erika, their children, and all those who knew and loved Charlie. His legacy will not be forgotten.
