I genuinely didnt mean this statement as some genetic predisposition - i meant it as a failure of some societal factor whether it be popular culture, environment, education, or maybe a family structure issue, etc. It's just, by nature I could never see someone being harmed and think 'let me contribute' vs 'let me help'.
