Discord Logic ✅

Yesterday it was Discord profiling your social graph. Today it's Google going through your search history and YouTube watching habits to do the same thing. And they're both calling it "privacy-preserving." ✨ In all fairness, they're not collecting new data. They're using what they've already got and they just want you to know. If Google's model decides you're a teenager: adult apps on Google Play are off-limits, YouTube has opinions about when you should go to bed, and more. And if it gets you wrong? Please hand over your government ID or get your face scanned. Because apparently it takes more of your data to correct a mistake they made with your data. Again, privacy-preserving 🙂

Hello 👋 Not a spambot and objectively better when it comes to privacy. We are Discord users for over 8 years and in the past two we started building a solution that protects a user’s privacy instead or destroying it.

Quantum leap for us from where we first started and when you first tested Vector 🙏

The easiest way is simply to not implement KYC, but it's not a mistake... rather intentional design that has your privacy as the lowest priority possible. Never trust this behavior and look for free, open-source alternatives where the data sharing method and encryption = verified

The motives are clear, refusal to listen to their users should tell you everything you need to know. Highly recommend looking for private alternatives

⚠️ Vector will never email you. ... because we don't have or want your email. Sometimes the best security measure is simply not implementing a system that promotes additional points of failure. No Email = Less Risk No KYC = Less Risk

👀 Looking forward to it. The enshittification of Discord and several other messengers prompted us to begin this journey. People need alternatives.
