Both candidates for Arizona attorney general duked it out on the debate stage Wednesday night.
Incumbent Democrat Kris Mayes touted her record, saying she's won 83% of her nearly 50 cases against the Trump administration and brought more than $2 billion back to the state.
Republican challenger Warren Petersen argued Mayes has no business challenging the federal government so often, saying Arizona is a center-right state. But Petersen said he, too, would sue the Trump administration if necessary to protect Arizona's water rights.
