When a white teenage boy makes a racist joke: "kill him and destroy his life" When a 15-year-old third worldist burns a woman's face with a flamethrower: "he's just a child 🥺"
My God we’re arresting children now
Community note
The 15yo child in question assaulted a woman with a makeshift flamethrower, as the quoted tweet shows. This is a crime, therefore an arrest is warranted regardless of the age of the assailant. x.com/DailyMail/stat… legifrance.gouv.fr/codes/section_…

Seeing Gears of War being tarnished like this by People who don't even care about the series anymore saddens me deeply. The original Trilogy was genre defining - genre defining because of being the reason many Games copied the 3rd person Cover based Shooter Mechanics in that Era of Gaming. Gears 1-3 had strong masculinity and didn't shy away from the horrors that war could bring. The dynamic between Marcus and Dom is great and the writing makes it very believable that they have been through a lot together. When you add Cole and Baird to the Mix later it's almost unthinkable having Delta Squad any other way. The Banter and dynamic between the 4 is the sort of chemistry that modern writers would kill for but never manage to replicate. The build up of Marcus and Anya's Relationship was believable throughout the trilogy because you had competent writers. Even though I thought it was silly to me that they made her an active Soldier instead of keeping her as an operator. The Gameplay of the Series improved with each entry culminating in Gears 3,IMO. That's when the series felt the best. My favourite Moments in the entire Trilogy have to be what happens when Dom reunites with his Wife in Gears 2 and his Heroic Sacrifice in 3. The heroic sacrifice hits even harder when you take his Reunion with his Wife into account and he was still suffering from that. This Man had nothing to lose and sacrificed himself to save his friends, while leaving a legacy of Heroism behind. In E-Day all of this stuff gets cast aside just so some writers can shoehorn in some Characters that will never be mentioned in any of the other Games, going even as far as trying to make us believe that the new characters are the main inspiration for the Lead Characters Motivation to fight for Freedom against the Locust. If they are so important why weren't their Names mentioned in other games then? Shit even the Carmine Brothers (the running joke of the series) had some brief impact. Gears of War E-Day is a sad reminder that the series is just a shadow of it's former self. The majority of the people who made Gears what it was, don't work on that Series anymore. And it breaks my heart that a Series that I used to love coming back to,dwindled into the sad state it is in today. It's like seeing a relative deteriorating more and more due to dementia... I gave 4 an honest try,I thought it was only okay. I tried Gears 5, it didn't work for me. If this is the State that Gears is going to be in for moving forward I will stick with the original Trilogy and extended Universe Books. Gears is another reason to gatekeep the things you love. Because if you don't, it will fall victim to talentless hacks hijacking your beloved Games.

Of course Europe matters -- and protecting it has to matter. Don’t be Philistines and write off the cradle of Western civilization. They have as many museums and historical plaques lining their streets as we do Starbucks. If you have any sense of history, culture, or awe, that has to matter. Europe may be living on the fumes of past beauty, but that beauty is still there. It may not be in their politics, but it lives on the walls of their museums, in their concert halls, even in the very stones beneath their feet. Even if some Europeans can’t see what makes us great, that’s not an excuse for us to be equally incurious about what makes them great. If anything, it’s the opposite. Great, you think Europeans are dumb. Don’t be dumb like a European. Don’t erase history like a woke Leftist. Refusing to engage with another culture is a sign of fear. We have nothing to be afraid of and everything to learn. Being an American who fears to visit Europe is like being a cloistered coastal liberal elite who refuses to leave the city. Do you actually think America could exist if we’d learned nothing from Europe? Do you think John Locke grew up next to a Dairy Queen? Do you think Montesquieu ate at McDonald’s? Do you think Magna Carta was signed at Macy’s? Of course not. Yet that’s where the inspiration for the greatest American documents – the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence – came from: the French and the English. The classical American culture we are currently trying to rediscover is rooted in European greatness. You cannot rediscover what is best in America without acknowledging its origins in Europe. Imagine scoffing at The Freedom Trail in Boston or the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia because both cities now vote blue. Do you really want to act as if the Pilgrims just apparated out of the ocean? And what about what Europe learned from us? They’d never know how to overthrow tyrants in the first place. Which means fascism and communism would probably still be alive and well. The two geopolitical victories which cemented America’s status as a superpower would’ve been impossible. And therefore, American greatness itself would not have existed. Our greatness does not, and cannot, exist in a vacuum. We need Europe because without their culture, we have no roots. They need us because without our freedoms, they wilt. Just as they gave us the seeds of both American and Western civilization, we can offer them the courage to grow anew. Such is our proper role as citizens of the greatest, freest nation on the face of the earth. So if Europe won’t appreciate where they came from? If they won’t preserve it? Then we must.

American an European friends, I’m so ashamed, but you need to see what France has become. Don’t make the same mistakes we did. The only peaceful solution is to send them back to their countries of origin they love so much. We cannot coexist. It will be them, or us.

I know the immigration, ethnicity and nationality debate is nuanced and that you can't tar everyone with the same brush. I just don't really care anymore. I see entire districts of our cities which are no longer meaningfully British, and the streets teeming with people who don't share my language, culture or values, who couldn't contribute anything of value even if they wanted to. I just don't see what's in it for me to turn my country into a third world slum. Furthermore, I'm somehow the one who has to modify my own values to accommodate it. I'm supposed to pretend that some fresh-off-the-boat Somalian is just as British as me, and for what? So I can pay for their multiple offspring, and watch everywhere I've ever liked turn into an alien, squalid, violent shit tip. If I'd ever been asked about any of this I'd have said no. While you can criminalise any objection to it, there's nothing you can say or do that's going to make me like what's been done to our country. There is nothing that they can contribute that makes it worth enduring the filth and disorder they bring with them. I am old enough to remember when Britain was a largely ethnically homogenous high trust society - where instances of extreme violence were shocking because they were rare. Immigration has made it an everyday reality. Meanwhile, we've been persistently gaslit by every arm of the state, and manipulated to be colourblind and accepting of other cultures no matter how depraved they are. And what was ever in it for us? You now face arrest just for waving your own national flag while the flag of inferior cultures flies from public buildings. You just want me to passively accept this as my own people become a minority in my own homeland? Not happening. The only reason dissent has been so successfully contained is through the power of propaganda and the implied threat that complaining about it too loudly will cost you everything. But we've seen through the propaganda, and we've realised the name-calling only has power if we let it. Call me racist if you want. I won't even argue. I won't even devote a spare thought as to whether I am or aren't. Being non-racist hasn't really been beneficial. They say it's what makes you a "decent human being" but apparently being a decent human being means being absolutely supine as civilisation crumbles around us and backward savages take over. We are told that Britain's is the world's most successful multi-ethnic, multi-cultural democracy, but our parliament is increasingly colonised by foreigners pushing their own ethnic vendettas and the interests of their country of origin. Parliament is turning into the UN, where Britons increasingly have to make do with less representation in their own country, and have their own interests subordinated. This, we are told, is progress. Everyone's allowed to be an ethnonationalist apart form the English. I don't know about you but I'm not going along with any of this anymore. It is not in my own interests or the interest of my own people. Mass immigration is of no benefit to us, and we are not obliged to be welcoming. No cohort of immigrants resides in Britain at the request or invitation of the British people. This was entirely inflicted upon us against our will. We are entitled to resent it - and to express our resentment accordingly.

Look, it's okay to not be English. But it's not okay to wear our ethnic identity as a skinsuit or to deny its existence entirely. We exist as a distinct ethnic group and acknowledging that doesn't mean other ethnic groups are inferior. Isn't it mad to think that if you changed "English" for any other ethnicity in the world the left would be clapping and cheering this statement.

If a man and woman both choose to drink and use drugs and get drunk and high and then have sex -- which, I'm sorry to break it to people, is not a rare occurrence -- is the man guilty of rape, or is the woman guilty of rape, or is it both and neither? If, in a male/female couple, the man gets super drunk and high and then woman doesn't, and then they have sex, is she guilty of rape? If both the Cornell accuser and at least some of the accused voluntarily chose to drink and do drugs and have sex -- as happened -- why is the man accused of rape but not the woman?
Choosing to have a drink is not consent, and it’s never a license for sexual assault. New York law should reflect that. I support closing the voluntary intoxication loophole and will work with the Legislature to get it done.
Community note
There is no law in New York saying choosing to drink means consenting to sex. Current New York law says voluntary intoxication does not invalidate an individual's ability to give consent, as it does not meet the state's standard of "mentally incapacitated". nysenate.gov/legislation/la… nysenate.gov/legislation/la…

I am Egyptian, born and bred. Lived most of my life in Egypt from birth in 1990 until 2016, when I moved to the UK. If you, as a white British man, moved to Egypt and had a child there with a white British woman, and told Egyptians your kid is just as Egyptian as they are, they'd bloody laugh at you. Yes, ethnicity and race matter in every damn country. Oli, please take a seat. You're an imbecile.
Tonight on Question Time, I debated Suella Braverman on what it means to be English. I think there’s one word for her position

If you adopt the position that the English people are not a unique ethnicity, you are engaging in genocidal rhetoric. It’s not really a debatable point. It’s straightforwardly evil.
If you adopt the position only white people can be English, that is by definition racist. It’s not really a debatable point.

If my children were born in Japan, spoke Japanese, and had never left Japan, they would still be English. They may love Japan, as I do, but that does not change their heritage. The Japanese would still see them as gaijin. That doesn't mean they hate them. But the hallmark of a good houseguest is gratitude. Demanding to be seen as indistinguishable from the family who own the home is guaranteed to irritate them to the point of them asking you to leave.
“Japanese” is not an ethnicity, it is a country. Like England. You are embarrassing yourself. No one is seeking to deprive you of being Anglo-Saxon. We are simply laying claim to our own country.

Islam is trying to conquer the western world, and the mainstream media, most online influencers and podcasters, and our adversaries like Russia and China are helping it. The left teamed up with Islamists in Iran to start a revolution, and after they overthrew the monarchy, the Islamists killed or exiled the useful leftist idiots that helped them gain power. Democrats are now doing the same thing. And a lot of the big “right wing” anti-Israel influencers and politicians are helping them. History is replete with these patterns, by the way.
