Christian, that simply is not true if by “these antics” you mean conduct remotely comparable with what Kevin Rees actually did.
⠀
People are not detonating homemade explosive devices in residential streets every day with “little to no consequence”.
⠀
Look at what happened here.
⠀
Rees did not simply vandalise a camera.
⠀
He manufactured a bomb, placed it beside the ULEZ equipment, lit the fuse and walked away.
⠀
The explosion damaged a van.
⠀
It blew out the tyre of another car.
⠀
Shrapnel went through a PASSING car and into the bottom of a passenger seat.
⠀
It damaged a wall.
⠀
A front porch.
⠀
A shed.
⠀
A Wendy house.
⠀
And a piece of metal travelled more than 100 metres and damaged the window frame of a CHILD'S BEDROOM.
⠀
A bus also narrowly missed the blast debris.
⠀
It was sheer good fortune that nobody was seriously injured or killed.
⠀
And when his home was searched, police also found three operational homemade stun guns, for which he was separately convicted.
⠀
I have not seen a reliable published total for the monetary value of all the property damage, so I am not going to invent one.
⠀
But the physical extent of it is documented.
⠀
So please do not reduce this to ordinary vandalism and then claim that “migrants” do the same thing every day without consequences.
⠀
If you have evidence of people detonating homemade bombs in British residential streets every day, damaging multiple vehicles and homes over a 100-metre area, then present it.
⠀
Otherwise it is simply another assertion being used to avoid dealing with the facts of THIS case.
⠀
And describing human beings as “Orcs” contributes nothing factual to the discussion either.
⠀
If an individual migrant commits a serious offence, investigate them, prosecute them where the evidence supports it, and sentence them according to the law if convicted.
⠀
Exactly the same standard should apply to Kevin Rees.
⠀
Nationality does not make an explosive device more or less dangerous.
⠀
What the offender actually DID does.
