Playing the season opener in Charlotte is the dumbest thing ever. Losing out on profits.

WVU needs to be a home and home. Move that.

It’d been nice to go take over Mountianeer Stadium but guess we won’t get that chance

I would rather play WVU in Morgantown 2 straight years than one year in Charlotte

Great. This means the 24 team playoff got approved. Goodbye meaningful college football in September/ October / early November.

That Georgia Tech game better be a night game. Furman was ridiculous, just like the 1990 UCLA game when Smokey had a heat stroke.

Neutral sites are sterile from the spirit of college football unless its unique in someway. The Bristol game was a good example of a great neutral site. Playing in a plain old NFL or international soccer stadium is bland, boring and hurtful to the spirit of CFB.

Oh so they can change a whole date of a game but not move a noon game to night?

West Virginia should be a home and home. Taking over Morgantown would have been legendary

Why the F do we always have to play WVU in charlotte? Make them come to us. Sick of neutral site games for the regular season

Is this to make room in the schedule for the 24 team playoff??

Playing Wk 0 and in Charlotte vs a team in the opposite direction are signs we are accepting our place as a mid tier program. It could be a packed house as home and home series but will be a 80% filled smaller stadium. We should be going into someone’s house and taking a W home

Lord, I hate that Charlotte game. Why not a home and away with WV?

@AD_DannyWhite excuse me, Danny’s intern, can we just do a home & home. Thanks.

Petition that 2028 night game at Texas, since they screwed us with a noon kickoff.

Probably noon kickoff in 110 degree weather

Week 0 is more than extra TV inventory. In a nine-game SEC schedule, moving an opener forward creates another recovery window later. Tennessee is basically treating calendar structure like roster management.

Time to consider eliminating conference playoffs.
