A really important decision by our @UKLabour Government. At such a difficult time, it will provide necessary help and support to working people who have suffered bereavement.
From April 2027, employees and their partners who lose a pregnancy before 24 weeks will be entitled to two weeks of unpaid leave from work. This comes alongside a new right to time off for employees who lose a partner, parent, child or sibling.
