We’ve seen some posts circulating of Model S and Model X vehicles equipped with HW3 receiving V14.2 Lite in 2026.27.10. As far as we can determine, these vehicles do not represent the general fleet. Based on further research, we believe that these vehicles were previously in Tesla’s Wave1 (Early Access) program and were erroneously not fully removed from the program upon company departure. There have also been instances historically of VINs being erronously flagged for early access groupings, which may also be at play here. To clarify, these vehicles (and the owners) are not at fault for this, nor is this within their control in any capacity. As detected on our own platform and others, the first wave of both 2026.27.10 included only HW3 Model 3 and Model Y, and as with 2026.27.6 also excluded Model S and X legacy vehicles, even those enrolled in the customer early access groups. With this said, we believe that Tesla is gearing up to widen this to finally include customer-owned legacy Model S and X vehicles, although more time is needed. As always, we will continue to monitor the situation closely.

Model S & X FSD Owners need some answers Elon… we getting 14 lite? We getting HW4 retrofits? We getting any sort of acknowledgment that we exist?

If this schedule is accurate, does it mean that owners of HW3 Model S, X might receive v14 FSD Lite even later than v15? I sincerely hope and want to believe that such a situation will not occur. Is it fair that owners in the U.S. are already using at least version v12, while owners in other countries are limited to basic Autopilot ? Over two months later, Tesla still hasn’t delivered v14 Lite to the hundreds of thousands of Model S and Model X customers who paid up to $15,000 for Unsupervised Full Self-Driving several years ago. Ghosting customers who paid for a promised product is unacceptable. This issue isn’t simply going to go away, it will always be their legacy.

By refusing to give FSD 14 Lite to S and X owners with HW3, Tesla is broadcasting a message to us LOUD AND CLEAR Tesla is saying “buy a new Tesla with HW4 and pay for the subscription. You can afford it!” I will never shut up until I receive what I paid for and what Tesla promised. If that makes me a bad person to the Tesla Community, I don’t care. What Legacy Model S and X owners want is simple! 1. When will v14 FSD Lite be provided? 2. If answering question 1 is difficult, and development is indeed currently underway, why is it being delayed?

Korean legacy Model S/X owner here. Tesla offers paid CCS hardware retrofit in the US, Canada, and Taiwan, but not in Korea. There is an option to request it in the app, but when you actually apply, you get a call saying “Korea is not supported, so we will cancel it.” Only the adapter is available here — no official ECU upgrade. Because of this, I always feel anxious when traveling to highway rest areas or remote places where Superchargers are scarce. Third-party NACS chargers are completely incompatible due to CAN communication issues, so they simply don’t work at all. Why is Korea the only market excluded? Is it technical risk or just market size? @elonmusk @Tesla @tesla_korea @TeslaCharging
