One point the film NAZA makes, which may be obvious to some, is that one of the reasons Israel decided to strike Hamas fighters in their homes with family asleep rather than when they assembled outdoors is spelled out by one intel official: “There are only so many military sites in Gaza — hundreds? But there are lots of private homes. There are 40,000 operatives, so that’s nearly 40,000 homes.” The goal was to maximize the carnage and the destruction of civilians infrastructure and the killing of non-combatants. The AI used for targeting also identified many civilians as Hamas operatives — an official gives an example of a baker who has customers in Hamas; the AI would flag that he had been in contact with Hamas members and kill him and his entire family at home.

Brace yourselves. The attacks on the organisers of the Zionism is Racism motion are coming. They will be personal, based on guilt by association, deliberately alarmist, and amplified by the full force of the media establishment.

Your definition of Zionism does not matter. Nor does mine. Zionism is defined by its material manifestations. The purpose of a system is what it does. And the Zionist system does racism and genocide. Simple. Please spare me the arrogant insufferable graaating Oxbridge debates. Your opinions are irrelevant. People are dying.

I saw NAZA tonight. There were no shocking revelations as I knew from other public sources about the IDF atrocity crimes. What was meaningful & moving was that those complicit were talking about it, & pressed by the interviewer to say how they saw themselves being involved. 1/n

Today marks the 26th anniversary of the killing of 12-year-old Mohammed al Durrah in his father's arms by Israeli forces. The final moments of Mohammed and his father hiding behind a concrete cylinder, which aired on television worldwide, became the defining image of the Second Intifada

Write about what is happening in Gaza right now. This has literally gone beyond reason and crossed every boundary of humanity and human decency. A transport vehicle carrying a very large number of people was just targeted. The scene is beyond words; some of the people inside the vehicle literally disappeared in the force of the explosion, while others were thrown through the air over long distances. People in the tents surrounding the vehicle were also injured. There were children, women, and elderly people among those at the scene. Civilians who were simply on their way suddenly found themselves in the middle of an explosion that destroyed everything around them. Where is the world? Where is the so-called Peace Council? Where is all the talk about humanity and protecting civilians? Write about this. Speak about it. Show the world what is happening in Gaza right now. Do not let these scenes pass in silence.

It's time to stop with this nonsense. Yes they do. As stated by IDF soldier after IDF soldier, as reported in detailed journalistic investigations and as we have literally seen in video. Israel intentionally targets civilians.
Replying to @JustinBonomo

Hasbarists who like to style themselves "hard-headed realists" say, vis Gaza, when people complain about child fatalities, 'that's what war is bro.' No, it is not. It isn't remotely normal for a "military" to kill over 21,000 children and over 11,000 women. In fact, no military has killed more children or women than the Israelis have in the entire 21st century, including in wars that lasted over a decade and (other) genocides. Nor has any military razed anything like the proportion of buildings the Israelis have in Gaza. The IDF is completely off the charts when it comes to killing women and children. Other wars - Yemen and the Congo - have seen more deaths of women and children, but through starvation and disease. The IDF has killed more women, and more children, than any military this century. (The SAA, IRGC, Hezbollah, and the Russians combined killed slightly more women/children across the entire 14-year Syrian Civil War, but none of them individually killed nearly as many as did the Israelis.)

If media outlets insist of providing platforms to Walney, then they should provide a health warning before he speaks. Why would anyone " sane" accept the verdict of an arms company and Israel lobbyist over the verdicts of the majority of genocide scholars, Amnesty International and a UN Special commission of enquiry. The latter, which found Israel guilty of genocide, and as part of that crime of crimes, the deliberate targeting of children, included on its panel the former President of the International Criminal Tribunal on Rwanda. Yet Walney is brought on to assert that no one who has assessed the evidence believes Israel has committed genocide.
Lord Walney: "The idea of calling this a genocide is repugnant.. the way that Ireland made a fuss about this [football match] is reprehensible" How does genocide happen? Because of people like Lord Walney. There is no genocide without genocide denial
