At this point, it's easier to just buy an Xbox 360 and a physical copy. I can't even tell you how much I hate that to play Fable 3 on PC, I either have to torrent it or pay almost $400.

Yeah dude, when I say, "Remind me about the washer in 40 minutes" that’s exactly what I want. I honestly think Google should wrap up all AI development, open-source all existing models, admit they couldn’t make it work, and just focus on something they’re actually good at - shutting down more services and making a 10th chat app or whatever.

Finally had a chance to stop by and take a quick look at the new iPhone colors. The blue one is so beautiful.

So basically @DHH came to the Rails World and told them that Ruby on Rails is no longer needed now because AI can make apps in any languages. That's the funniest thing that could've happened.

i've been using the Samsung Z Fold8 for exactly two weeks (got it right after the iPhone Duo announcement), and so far it's one of the greatest phones i've ever used. this is not my first foldable — i've had the Z Fold3, Z Fold6, Pixel Fold, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. i love the new form factor, and i love how much they improved the haptics and the overall feel of the phone. it's light, super fast, and convenient in both form factors. it's also nice to have a manga and PDF reader that fits in my pocket. i still hate One UI. i believe it wasn't made by humans. but Samsung offers so much customization that i can avoid a bunch of their design decisions. i'm 100% sure the iPhone Duo will be a great phone too and will introduce foldables to a lot of people. however, the more reviews i see, the more i realize that proper multitasking and Android are worth more to me than nice animations and the Apple ecosystem.

Met a friend yesterday who has a few Airbnb apartments with a few people who do the cleaning. He was extremely excited and happy to tell that it took him 2 weeks from installing @ChatGPT Codex to make a cross-platform mobile app (React Native) for managing cleaners' schedules. He even figured out how to distribute the iOS one with all the certificates and stuff. A $20 plan by the way.

Arch existed before. Hyprland existed before. What didn’t exist was a user-friendly tutorial, a welcoming community, and AI agents running from the root folder. I’m not praising Omarchy blindly, but I’ve been using it since its early releases – even going back to Omakub – and it has always had a friendly, helpful community that was excited to try, build, and develop new things. All the people from so-called 'Linux Community' hating on it now could’ve done the same thing with CachyOS, Linux Mint, or any other distro. Instead, they chose gatekeeping and toxic behavior.

Yeah, we already have the Steam Deck, ROG Ally, and a bunch of other handhelds with better performance and access to way more games than the Switch. And they still can't even get close to Nintendo's sales, because people buy Nintendo hardware for Nintendo games. Zelda and Pokemon alone sell more handhelds than Sony could probably dream of.

This feels surreal -- @OmarchyLinux uses Arch’s power-profiles daemon to configure CPU modes, and there’s a 3rd party tool for setting the CPU maximum wattage and fan curve on the GPD Win. I asked Codex to install it and create a separate top-bar panel that controls both. And voila ­— i have dedicated control with hotkeys in about two minutes. It still feels like magic.

You know what’s actually funny - The first image is Google’s official promo image. - There isn’t a single laptop in the announced lineup with bezels like that. - It seems like Google just straight-up photoshopped the image into a laptop frame and did it so badly (or maybe on purpose) that it has basically nothing to do with the actual laptops they’re selling.
