I thought this only happened in Philadelphia?

oh does it ever bring me great joy to see devil magic Braves depth players get smacked in the face by reality
You just can’t drop pop ups like this when you’re facing the Dodgers

It’s fucking hilarious how much pearl clutching Braves fans did about Phillies fans booing our team but have zero issue booing the guy largely responsible for winning a World Series with them and being the undisputed leader of that team.
Freddie Freeman died inside when the Braves didn't re-sign him. Then, on a new team, when they went to Atlanta, he was so classy and emotional for his former team and city. Booing him? Classless and clueless.

Ronald Acuña Jr. continues to be unclutch against…everybody in the biggest spots.

If you need further evidence that sports discourse is so fundamentally broken and cursed by hot take culture, here it is.
The end snuck up on everyone. But it's the end all the same. This era of the Eagles is over. The window is shut. Today's Cam Jurgens trade said enough: phillyvoice.com/eagles-super…

I hate continuing to talk poorly on Cam because the dude's a legend. But Ravens people are legit hilarious they think they're getting 2024 Cam Jurgens. He was not good last year at center. The injuries have totally changed his career.
Cam Jurgens has been a Pro Bowl center for the last 2 years. Due to an injury to Landon Dickerson, the Eagles had to put him at Left Guard where he has been absolutely awful. We are trading for the top 10 center over the last 2 years not for the bottom 3 guard through 4 games.

It's like this dude wakes up every day and says to himself: "What idiotic thing can I say today?" The Eagles are trading a presently bad football player that is actively hurting them every week. There is no "rebuild/retool" happening here.
Rebuild/retool is in motion.

Once again, reluctantly defending the Phillies: You can’t compare team building between baseball and football/basketball. The 2028 Eagles might have a Pro Bowl lineman who’s currently in college right now. Baseball does not allow for such plug and play drafting

Will always appreciate Cam for 2024. Dude gave it his all along with Landon for that ring, and they'll both always be heroes here.

Howie being able to get a 2nd round pick for the guy is truly a miracle
Trade: Eagles are sending two-time Pro Bowl center Cam Jurgens and a 2027 7th-round pick to the Ravens in exchange for a 2027 5th-round pick and a 2028 2nd-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Do everyone a favor and shut the fuck up, SAS

Hell, go watch just a couple laps from Texas in 2002. Dirty air was a huge topic that year, the last year before they standardized the front and rear bumpers, and even then, drivers can follow and get runs in corners. It's very much a next gen problem.
I went to NASCAR Classics, went to 2003, & clicked on a random race at Texas (a Track renowned for terrible racing even back then) and screen recorded a few laps. So this is not even me cherry picking examples because I’m sure there are far better examples. This is just how it was. You don’t have to search for examples. The racing was just good. Watch the 12 car here as he keeps entering the corners directly in the wake of the 8 as he chases him down for the win, & experiences little to no dirty air. If he entered the corners like that in today’s car he would lose the nose and push up 3 lanes. It’s jarring how drastic of a difference this is to today. Yet we are told it is exactly the same. You can click on literally any race from 2000-2009 on NASCAR classics and find hordes of examples like this from each race.

Why the fuck are people acting like Joe Davis needed to be screaming out of his shoes for this moment? It's an RBI double to extend their lead to 2. Nothing special whatsoever about this play and you have blowhards on here acting like he should be calling a WS winning hit.
Michael Harris II drives home another for the Braves! He's a homer shy of the cycle 👀

Under no circumstances should Brandon Marsh be on this baseball team next year.
Which player should the Phillies keep going into next season

I mean, this should be viewed as an act of treason. How the fuck do you defend this?
