what i find scary about folks like dhh broadly claiming that programming by hand is over is the implicit assumption that we all get unlimited tokens to model
before ai i had as many human tokens as my caffeination allowed in a day, today i’m extremely lucky to have all these subsidized frontier tokens to work with
BUT i could not rely on ai like i do if i had to pay for it all myself!
sure its getting cheaper, and that is great! but we are not yet at a point where anyone can open a laptop and be demonstrably productive at writing software with ai without depending on these subsidized tokens/hardware

Type /plan and the agent steps back to think through the task, and conduct extensive research, before generating an implementation plan for your review. The agent will ask for your approval before it begins executing on the task.
You can also ask for a plan naturally in your prompt, for a lighter version of a plan.

Unexpectedly found myself in a conversation about agents yesterday evening with someone who now has to use Qwen at work, because company wants to save money.
Really struggled with expressing how much of a category change using latest frontier models is vs. using Qwen.

It's a named, append-style log of "records" you produce to and consume from, with a configurable retention window, writable from a Worker binding or over HTTP.
Basically Cloudflare Kafka.
