This rant from Raoul Pal points out everything WRONG with digital art (NFTs) 🎯🎯🎯 Why is it like this? Because: 1. There is no incentive to focus on building in that corner of the industry. There are less than 5,000 total humans on the planet interested in deploying meaningful capital. On top of that, users of the products are more likely to lash out and complain than do anything else What entrepreneur is going to be interested in that? 2. Most people that were building products to support this from 2020 onward were already rich or have gotten rich along the way, and are pretty complacent. They also probably are not customers themselves. After watching the market get completely ravaged over the past 3 years with no signs of life, why would they want to risk more capital when they can buy something like Bitcoin instead? I do believe that we will get to a much better place on that side of the industry, but I think it will take quite some time for it to develop. Raoul makes great points here, as a customer.
