This is all becoming increasingly bizarre under Andy Burnham. His wife has now given up her job to follow him around in an “unofficial First Lady” role. What exactly does that mean? Will she now be travelling around Britain, and the world, alongside the Prime Minister at taxpayers expense? We didn’t vote for her. She isn’t in government, and in Britain, we do not have a “First Lady”. The whole Burnham operation feels like one enormous grift.

@JohnSwinney Norway isn’t an à la carte menu. It has it's: Own currency. Outside the EU. National service for men and women, usually 12 months first time, some 16, plus reserve duty after. And it took centuries of discipline to get there. The oil fund wasn’t a slogan. They found the oil, taxed it hard, banked most of it, and refused to blow the capital. That’s the package people keep holding up for Scottish public-sector reform. You don’t get the services and the long-term thinking while dropping the bits that clash with your usual lines on the pound, Brussels and who actually has to serve. If the lesson is “be more like Norway,” say the whole sentence. No doubt, it will be Ireland, or maybe Denmark we can be like next week. More likely we would end up like Greece, but without the sunshine.

My daughter Grace’s medical records looked at, Barney & Ian’s records also breached. All uncovered from when my wife asked for an audit of who entered notes and when from the mental health trust. This ‘cover up’ would never have been uncovered otherwise. Sinéad @drsineadomk well done for other patients and victims. So Nottingham attack victims records breached. Southport victims, children and Leanne’s medical records looked at and breached. Oliver McGowan’s medical records from 10 years ago, breached now. All by treating hospital staff Additionally by hospitals my wife and I have worked at and have had nothing to do with acute treatment @RoyalFreeNHS @NHSBartsHealth This is the NHS you want us to hold in reverence. The NHS system we have worked in and cared for patients in. An NHS with sick voyeurs in who sit there and look up other people’s medical records for no clinical reason. Health Secretary you have now known about these breaches for weeks and months, yet no response to all of us from your office, is this how you treat victims……. We want an explanation and we would like it now Health Secretary. Enough is enough.
