Outages are spiking a bit in the Hudson Valley, even though wind gusts are "only" ~30-40 mph.
However, trees are nearly fully leafed, and a north-northeast wind direction is quite rare. Some @nysmesonet stations haven't seen these gust/direction combos in 2000+ days! #nywx
