**What I Built This Year** This year I became a Based Advocate (huge thanks to @svmvn for the trust). I collected a ton of feedback to improve @baseapp and onboarded around 300 people. I stepped into the moderator role for the @degentokenbase telegram chat - it’s a huge honor to work with @jacek0x, a unique builder. I absolutely love banning scammers, to protect users and keep the chat clean.🤩 Together with @lifeisatape we received a small grant from @buildonbase for our themed pinball project. I started working on @celebrationhb. It’s now one of the coolest social apps out there with massive room to scale both onchain and offchain.(+ some small side projects) I received 2 (or 4, depending on how you count them) base grants for my contributions to the @base ecosystem. Huge thanks to @berkay_secil, @cb03c66 & @CryptoStatuette. I was (and maybe still am) among the top builders on Base according to @TalentProtocol metrics. I took over the Devs: Mini Apps Farcaster chat from @lindaxie and I’m trying to help however I can. I’m also contributing to the Base Builder Circle Telegram chat together with @torok_tomi. Every builder can always get help from either place. My gift-sending and tipping agent won Farhack - massive thanks to @limone_eth, @builders_garden, and all the organizers. Later I even got to present the app on stage at FarCon-Rome in a language I’m barely familiar with (English lol)- what an incredible opportunity! I launched a small independent non-financial support program for builders, mainly on @farcaster_xyz, and helped attract around 2k users in total across various apps like @DotA_Agents (by @AzFlin), @CatTownBase (@itscrunklez & @purrfect_pixels and other kittens), @jessexbt_ai ( by @bvdani_el ), Among Traitors (by @saltorious1), and Petfolio by @UniqueBeing404. Once again I’m realizing that when you look at short timeframes it feels like nothing much is happening - but if you zoom out, it’s been an incredibly packed and eventful year! I like how we can succeed together.🦆

Around January, I switched from cursor to codex. Each month, I needed around 4–10 Plus subscriptions. I was mostly using the best AI models available, usually with medium reasoning effort. For the last month or two, I’ve been using GPT-5.6 Luna with very high reasoning effort, and overall, two Plus subscriptions have been enough for me. I’m actually pretty happy with the results. How are things going for you with AI? What are you using lately?

I think you know that I started learning English about six months ago and have been practicing speaking it from time to time. I spoke a lot of English throughout the whole last week. Some fun facts about my English: I still don’t know the days of the week. I’m pretty bad with dates and years. Family relationships and relationships between people are insanely difficult for me. But hey, I can talk about crypto, apps, gifts, and birthdays lol.

Nice day for @degentokenbase. New people are starting to talk about Degen, getting into the culture, and the old ones are remembering the old days and coming back. Some want to launch tokens paired with Degen. Also, I really love that APR on the green chain. I haven’t had a win there in a very long time. Love seeing how Jacek is cooking. Degen is for everyone.

I first heard about biketyson in early september, and even then it already seemed funny to me. The recipe for success still looks pretty simple: -a funny meme -an organic community -content -virality -persistence That then brings support from the chain itself, influencers, etc. — more attention. I'm even hearing about it from my normie friends. I see a lot of similar launches on Base, but I don’t see any funny content or a real community around jesski / brianarm / cobee / etc. And it’s unlikely something like that becomes the meta here, since almost all of the above is pretty much missing. People are just praying for Jesse/Cobie to notice it. People are just praying for one pump and exit liquidity. -
