Looks like it had the desired effect, though. Jones the Younger will has grown up with an overwhelming sense of inadequacy and bitterness that will determine every interaction she has for the rest of her life. Thus she can carry on the family business. Mission accomplished!

These students "had more" than her NYT writer and Puliter Prize winning mother. And more that her father Faraj who is part of the New York City's Panel for Educational Policy (PEP) and chairs its contracts committee and is PTA co-president at his daughter’s school. steinhardt.nyu.edu/metrocent…

The idea that some people (and therefore their children) have *more* because they are better behaved and work harder never occurs to them. They simply don’t understand cause and effect.

God willing, there won't even be this odious cottage industry of grievance in 20 years. Fascinating article, it WILL move the Overton Window, but it also entirely misses the point: Those kids were acting feral at school not because of bored aides. They were acting feral because their "families" are mired in appalling dysfunction. Take it from a former social worker supervisor. What's considered "normal" in these "underserved" communities is antisocial and violent and disordered.

It is beyond frustrating that it's considered evil to state this truth. It should be considered evil to allow it to continue.

Somebody asked Grok what the budget for those schools was. It's over $50k per pupil, per year. So, she was lying, again.
Replying to @yuanyi_z
@grok what is the budget of the school in question, per student per year?

"But that all goes to the administration!" "OK, so can we fire the administration?" "No because then the community wouldn't have jobs!" "So what's the solution?" "Give us more money!"

Black kid welcomed into an overwhelmingly white school and calls everyone racist! Seems about right for a liberal

This charge of “casual racism” is really just paranoia and hyper-sensitivity. It you’re looking for faults, you will always find them. It’s anti-white bias.

The more money your parents make the less you disrupt classes despite the popular perception that affluent white kids are also spoiled jerks, duh. There's nothing to think about beyond that. Don't you ever dare think too hard about that

You’re racist for noticing an inconvenient truth!

It makes sense. At that point you either face a brutal reality that your education was hurt only to show a clear cultural difference in the approach to education or you pretend it's the fault of a system and empower yourself in any way you can (racial identity in this case).
