I’m an ex cop. I agree with the difficulty. But as one who started as U cop then quickly moved on I know the power a large U can have on its “impartial PD” who report to a U president. Sadly I also know how a powerful U can have incredible power over a local PD (though less so). This case has a TON of problems from top to bottom for the victim and suspects. I have also had first hand experience how academia can discredit who it wants to protect for PR. However the fact discredited @TishJames has anything to do with the case gives it 0 credibility. They should have assigned it to literally anyone else. Elmo from Sesame Street would have more credibility as a prosecutor and I think that dude has been in kindergarten since 1990.

I spent a career as a border cop & paramedic (not federal) in NM, AZ, then TX. If these idiots had any idea how many people I personally saw @BorderPatrolHQ save from falls, dehydration, snake bites, drowning, & cartel shootings, stabbings, & assaults they might have a clue.
