Point of correction for Black history books. The Western world underwent a civilizational enlightenment and a voluntary retreat that ended imperialism. It wasn't street marches or protests that did the trick. What if the white man had never undergone this moral evolution and turned against slavery, imperialism, and colonialism? If the United States, Britain, and Europe still operated under the primitive logic of total conquest, their current technological, military, and economic dominance would allow them to descend on Black society right now and annex or subjugate any African nation they desired. The only barrier preventing such an outcome is not the defensive capability of developing nations, but the fact that Western civilization permanently shifted its reasoning away from colonization centuries ago. By ignoring this structural reality, modern grievance politics relies on a severe form of historical amnesia. Enlightenment doesn't need applause, but it deserves acknowledgment. Ignoring it isn't justice, it's just forgetting.

So, because cannot prevent every fraction of warming, should we simply stop trying, like cowards? The answer is NO! ~Every fraction avoided matters. ~Every ecosystem protected matters. ~Every tonne of emissions prevented matters. ~Every community made safer matters.
