Mad to think she was only 47 playing this role! RIP Stephanie Cole - a fine, fine actress.

Oh crumbs, have we lost her? I’m just catching up with stuff. She was one of our finest; excellent at both comedy and tense drama too.

A superb actress with a solid body of work. Capable of pathos, comedy, high drama, the lot. A most sincere actress. RIP.

Met her when I worked in a department store in Glasgow, she was so lovely to the staff and customers, she couldn’t get her shopping done!

That series was so brilliant. I remember so many of the stories, even though so long ago. The leaves on the path. The poison pen woman who ended up, happy, in prison.

Great series; very nice then too? When the series was redone in 2020; Harriet Walter played her instead of course too also?
