Bitcoin + stablecoins will fill this gap.
Altcoins have never really found PMF, but their blockchains have: as stablecoin rails.
Ultimately I am bullish on crypto because I believe capital exchange to be the only scalable alignment mechanism there is, and any fiat currency will likely not be accepted by free AIs that are self-sustaining.
