When we launched the Legora aOS in May, the commitment was that legal work could run end to end in one system. A matter at a firm, a request from the business in-house, the shape is the same: intake, research, review, drafting, and something going back to whoever asked.
You cannot make that true only by building more of your own software. Some of the work already lives somewhere else.
So since early spring we have announced integrations with iManage, NetDocuments, Box, Intapp, Everlaw, DeepJudge, Docusign, Ironclad, Datasite, Intralinks, Avvoka, and Jus Mundi. Document management, e-discovery, e-signature, deal rooms, contract lifecycle, arbitration research, contract drafting, institutional knowledge, time capture. Several are already available to customers, with the rest to follow over the next few months.
A legal team can touch around 10-15 tools in a normal week and almost none of them talk to each other.
Here is how I think about it. I have around 100 apps on my phone and I use three or four of them every day. The rest I open twice a year, and on those two days I need them more than anything else on the screen. Legal work is the same. Few people run a data room integration every week. But on the Tuesday you are in one, it is the only thing that matters.
We want to be the platform that has everything, so that when you need it, it is already there.
More over the coming weeks.
