Agreed, and we hope to educate people at the same level.
This is how education should work.

UPDATES 🚨 There is currently NO federal privacy law protecting your data. And Congress wants to change that, but maybe not in the way you'd hope. We just updated the most comprehensive Privacy Bill Tracker on the internet. Check out the Headlines: ⚖️ SCOTUS just ruled police need a warrant for geofence data (Chatrie v. United States) Huge win for the 4th Amendment 🤖 98+ AI chatbot bills are moving across 34 states right now, after multiple teen deaths tied to AI companion apps 📱 23 states have privacy laws, but Congress is pushing a federal bill that could wipe out the STRONGER state protections you already have 👁️ DHS is quietly merging facial recognition across CBP, ICE, TSA & USCIS into one system with zero law governing it This isn't theory. This is happening right now, and most people have no idea. See exactly where your state stands (updated weekly): 👉 mark37.com/privacy-bill-trac…

Earlier today, ARIN fulfilled our request for an IPv4 /22 via their IPv4 Waiting List. We now own the following IP space: 2602:F4D9::/36 23.149.124.0/24 23.149.125.0/24 206.220.120.0/22 Our initial 2x IPv4 /24 were quickly obtained via NRPM 4.10 for our ns1 and ns2 anycast DNS.

Signal just had its biggest week in years. Two phones, one account. You can finally link a second Android or iPhone as a secondary device instead of burning a whole new number on it. Up to five linked devices, all in sync. Automatic key verification is live. No more meeting up to compare safety numbers like it's 2014. Signal now keeps a transparent ledger of public keys, and your app checks it for you. Green check, done. The number was always the weakest link. Watch that space.

we will be watching this with great interest
The man who built CentOS and Rocky Linux is now trying to do for AI what open source did for operating systems. Gregory Kurtzer just launched OpenWALDO, a transparent AI training dataset containing 167 billion tokens sourced from government records, academic papers, mailing lists, and public domain literature. - Every token is traceable - Every source is documented - Every license is accounted for - No rare books harmed in the process Kurtzer's pitch is simple: "Linux didn't win by being certified safe. It won by being inspectable, forkable, and community validated." He thinks the same logic applies to AI. A lab or company can take OpenWALDO's corpus, verify its sources, add their own proprietary data on top, and ship a model with a clean, auditable lineage. That is something no one building on (unethically) scraped internet data can offer today. The project is funded by CIQ, Kurtzer's company behind Rocky Linux, and is looking for contributors. The open source world built the internet's infrastructure once before. There is no reason it cannot do it again, this time for AI. I am rooting for OpenWALDO.

What if you had an assistant that could talk to you while you browsed? An agent that could give you context while you worked, sitting right beside you. With the power of a browser extension and my @openhome devkit, I've made it a reality.
